** “Office Hours” when Father Kosmas is generally available to take phonecalls, are on: Tuesdays to Fridays 11:00 to 18:45, and Saturdays 11:00 to 13:00. If you call outside these times, or if Father is busy in meetings with other people, your call may be redirected to a call handling service, who may be able to give you general information, or to take a message for Father to call you back or to contact you by WhatsApp or text message.
Confession & other 1:1 meetings with Father Kosmas
Father Kosmas is generally available in church each Saturday afternoon from 14:00 to 17:30 to hear confessions; for 40 Day Prayers after Birth of a Child; 1:1 meetings for enquiries about becoming Orthodox; for catechesis, etc. Click here to arrange to see Father Kosmas on a Saturday in Rugby up to two weeks in advance.
Father Kosmas is also available to speak to people by phone / video call or to see people for 1:1 meetings in Wolverhampton on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 11:30 to 16:30. Because of the need to travel to Wolverhampton, slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays are for one hour each; you may book more than one slot if you think that this is appropriate. Father Kosmas will contact you to arrange a venue for your meeting or to make arrangements for a phone / video call. Our Archbishop only allows confessions to be heard in church. By special arrangement, confessions may be heard in Wolverhampton on Tuesdays only between 11:30 and 13:30 in Saint Peter’s Church, Wolverhampton. This is an ancient church, whose foundation dates back to before the Great Schism.

Important notice: If you come to me regularly for confession, one half hour slot should be enough. If you are coming to me for the first time, I would suggest that you book two (consecutive!) half hour slots – if you’re coming on a Saturday – so that we can have an hour together. If you want to prepare for a full life confession, we will need at least an hour to prepare, and then another hour at least one week later for the confession itself.
