Please pray for the health and salvation of Father Kosmas’s mother.

Veneration of Relics

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

Our friends at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Transfiguration in Coventry have invited us to venerate with them the relics of The Holy, Glorious and Right-victorious Greatmartyr Saint Panteleimon the Unmercenary Healer, which will be brought to their church on Wednesday 14th June 2017.

The relics will arrive at about 11.00 am from London and will remain in Coventry until mid-afternoon before being taken to the Geek Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos and St Andreas in Birmingham.  They may be venerated there until about 20.00.

Matins followed by the Divine Liturgy will be served in Coventry beginning at about 10.00 am and ending at about 12.30 pm.  We are warmly invited to join the Community for either of these services and then to stay for lunch, which will be served in the community hall.  If anybody would like to stay for the meal would they please let me know so that I can inform Coventry of the likely numbers.

More information on Saint Panteleimon can be found at:

The address of the Church of the Holy Transfiguration is:
Westwood Heath Road, Coventry CV4 8GP

This is a privileged opportunity to venerate the relics of a Saint whom we commemorate every Sunday, and to develop stronger ties with the Coventry parish.

See you there!

Yours sincerely in Christ

Funding Appeal: Church Floor

floorWe are blessed to have a beautiful church building where services are held each week.  But we have discovered that many of the hidden floor timbers have become rotten.  In order to be able to continue using our church building safely, there is an urgent need to remove and replace these.

Can you help please with the costs of this work?  Please see the funding newsletter for details.
